Corporation’s War Room Turns Out to Just Be Conference Room with Snacks

Wilmington, NC (Just Laugh) – Having been summoned to Medware Financial’s corporate war room to present his findings about the current server outage impacting their biggest client, Systems Analyst Jacob White was somewhat disappointed to find that the hyped up meeting place was little more than a regular conference room that had been stocked with some company-funded snacks and coffee.

“We would always hear about The War Room out on the floor when our bosses got called into critical sessions,” White explained, “so I figured that it would be a pretty intense place – kind of like something out of War Games with a large LED map of our systems up on the wall and people rushing around frantically with important files and folders…”

“But instead when I got here to share my data,” he continued, “there were like three guys in the room sitting at opposite corners of the conference table not talking to each other with a platter of leftover bagels and coffee from Panera sitting in the corner.”

“When I asked if that was everyone, two of them got up and said that they were actually heading to lunch, and asked if I could come back later that afternoon.”
